Mid-market rates vs the rate you actually get

The table shows mid-market rates: the midpoint between buy and sell prices on the interbank market. Banks, PayPal-style wallets, marketplaces and payout providers usually add a spread or fee on top, often 0.5%–4%.

Enter your provider's markup in the Spread / fee field and the converted amounts are reduced accordingly, so you can compare real costs between providers.

Where the rates come from

Rates are fetched from public exchange-rate data sources (primary source plus two fallbacks) and cached for six hours. The date of the data is shown above the table. Rates are for reference; your bank or payment platform settles at its own rate.

Pricing tips

  • Quote in the buyer's currency but keep a margin for FX movement.
  • Include the platform's currency-conversion fee in your landed-cost model.
  • For duties and VAT, see the EU import duty & VAT calculator.
